Here are a few items that have caught my attention this week:

- Naomi Klein on the potential Wall Street bailout.

- Slashdot asks, “do we live in a giant cosmic bubble?”

- Numerology gains traction this week with the Dow Jones dive on Monday — Hassan Chop explores the significance of dates and your average internet wackos debate the end times.

- I sent out a tweet earlier about this, but it’s worth noting a second time: an excerpt from director Alejandro Jodorowsky’s latest book.

- Read about Arnold J. Toynbee, who I quoted earlier with the line, “civilizations die from suicide, not by murder.”
